Policies

Here you will find my policies regarding custom content.

Objects:

1. Do not claim any objects created by me as your own.

2. You may include objects in lots uploaded to free sites. DO NOT include in lots uploaded to paysites or the Exchange. Provide a link to the Download Page with proper credit. I am not too picky what you do with my objects. If you want to clone an object to use as a template for your own, send me a message.

3. If you wish to include objects in a custom world, You may include the packages in a custom content file folder for ease of downloaders. All I ask is that you send a message to inform me of your intentions. I understand that if there is a lot of custom content in your world, it is easier for downloaders to download on file that contains the custom content needed for the world. If your world uses very little custom content and just want to link to a download, that is acceptable.

4. All objects were created with free programs. These programs include but are not limited to Milkshape, S3PE, S3OC, and the GIMP. All content located on this page will remain free.

Lots:

1. You may include my lots in a world as long as credit is given and a link to the original download is given so downloaders may obtain information regarding that specific lot.

2. Do not upload my lots to the Exchange or paysites.

3. You can upload modified lots with approval from me. I would like a copy of the lot to check it out first. As you will be using something I created, I would like to inspect the product before it is released.

Worlds:

1.  There is to be no redistribution of worlds created by me. You can modify them to your heart's content for your own private use. Do not take a terrain I have created and use it for your own world.

2. Only terrains that have been uploaded and marked "For Your Creativity" can be used in the creation of your own worlds. Just give me credit if you decide to use terrain created by me.

These are the rules that I hope you will abide by. Too many times creators of free custom content here or find that their creations have been uploaded elsewhere by someone claiming it as their own. The biggest insult, I think, is for a creator of free content to find that someone has stolen their creation and put it on a paysite with no credit. I do not support paysites but I understand that they have the right to charge money for their creations. Some of these creations are exquisite. The only "pay items" I use are from the Sims 3 Store. I try to limit the amount of Store content in lots. If a paid or free item from the store is used, it will be marked in the CC Section under the Download Information.

Thanks for your cooperation.
